Audio Visual Systems Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree with 4+ years of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree. Basic familiarity or eagerness to learn Crestron programming. Knowledge of key IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including incident management, problem management, change management, service level management, and knowledge management. Current IATT Level 2 certification (such as Security+ CE) required; Level 1 (Net+, A+, etc.) is acceptable to start but must achieve Level 2 within 6 months of employment. Experience in a technical management role with insights into IT equipment lifecycle and planning for equipment replacement. Strong presentation skills to convey technical and business concepts to diverse audiences; adept at handling complex customer scenarios and interacting with personnel across all levels for quick resolutions. Competence in managing resources, teams, and customer needs effectively. Proven ability to manage and fulfill technical projects successfully. Responsibilities: Independently assess, design, document, install, implement, test, and troubleshoot AVMM End User Devices and associated networks. Oversee a diverse range of AVMM and computer network systems and components. Assist in the integration of a comprehensive AVMM network, including planning, installation, maintenance, and management. Monitor and support existing AVMM devices (such as IPTV and various conference rooms) and network infrastructure to ensure seamless and efficient operations. Identify, evaluate, and formulate detailed requirements for enhancements to AVMM networks, including re-architecting network segments for new technologies and growth. Analyze existing products and recommend improvements to senior management. Compile and update documentation related to problem and change management. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of daily tasks and projects following standard procedures. Diagnose and resolve complex operational challenges within the constraints of existing equipment. Potentially lead a small team in executing larger projects (modernization, refresh, etc.). Travel approximately 20% for service-related needs; opportunities to support work at various locations, including both domestic and international travel (excluding hostile areas).
