About the role The Test Analyst is responsible for assessing the quality of software and applications by designing, preparing, and executing tests using appropriate test design techniques, tools, and knowledge of the application, platform, or technology being evaluated. This role ensures that functional and non-functional requirements are validated to meet defined quality standards. Key responsibilities Comply with the ITG Quality Framework established by TCOE Ensure Test Processes are followed according to the SDLC and TCOE Test Methodology Ensure requirements traceability, validating that each requirement has corresponding test scenarios and test cases Participate in requirements analysis sessions with project teams and business stakeholders Analyze business and non-functional requirements; raise clarifications to ensure complete understanding Identify potential risks and issues related to scope, requirements, or testability Create clear and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases Conduct actual test execution following approved test plans and procedures Raise defects with sufficient detail to support efficient developer investigation Prepare and submit test progress reports (daily/weekly) highlighting execution status, defects, risks, and blockers About you Bachelor's degree relevant to the job More than 5 years experience in either Functional or Technical Testing More than 5 years experience using Testing Tools Responsible in the completion of test activities within budget and schedule Able to provide user perspective during test design as well as validate functionalities/non-functional requirements in scope Well-versed in the Testing Lifecycle Experience in using different Test Design techniques either Functional or Non-Functional testing Good communication both oral and written in order to collaborate well with counterparts Detail oriented and can quickly grasp business requirements in order to translate to Test Scenarios/Cases Experience executing Automated Test Cases
