Border Security AI/ML Engineer

Salary: $85,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements: We require an active and maintained CBP Public Trust or an active and maintained Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance. We require a bachelors degree. We need experience designing and implementing machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence solutions. We need experience deploying machine learning solutions in cloud environments, including AWS and/or Google. We need experience configuring AI applications for law enforcement use cases. Preferred qualifications include experience with COTS data tools such as DataRobot. Preferred qualifications include proficiency with CSP platforms and tools such as AWS SageMaker and Rekognition, Google Cloud Platform, and Google AI tools. Preferred qualifications include experience developing custom analytical tools for law enforcement analysis. Preferred qualifications include direct experience supporting the National Targeting Center or similar national security analysis fusion centers. Responsibilities: We design, develop, and deploy AI and ML applications that support border security mission outcomes. We build optimized machine learning toolsets and applications aligned with customer needs. We create and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates. We partner with non-technical users to gather and refine requirements. We support key mission clients at client sites throughout the Washington, DC Metro region. We are hiring for this role across multiple levels, including Associate, Senior, and Lead, based on experience, technical capability, and alignment to project needs.
