Data Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Commercial & Revenue Analytics Analyze sales performance by SKU, brand, customer, and region Monitor margins, pricing movements, and product profitability Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and high-growth product categories Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management Business Opportunity Development Identify market gaps, expansion areas, and new product opportunities Prepare business cases for new brands, product launches, and bulk purchase plans Support development of annual growth and demand forecasts Strategic Planning Support Build data models for: sales forecasting inventory planning container and import planning Prepare reports and presentations for supplier meetings and strategic reviews Performance Tracking & Dashboards Develop and maintain dashboards for: new product performance sales team performance vs targets key account growth event and campaign ROI Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to align data and growth plans Support management in special strategic projects SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE Within the first 6–12 months, the hire is expected to: Deliver regular opportunity and performance insights Improve forecast accuracy and inventory planning visibility Provide data used for key business and supplier decisions QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Industrial Engineering Management Engineering Business Analytics Finance Economics Mathematics or other analytical fields Experience 2–4 years experience in: business analytics commercial analytics strategy finance distribution / FMCG / automotive industry (Fresh graduates with strong internships and exceptional analytical skills may apply) Technical Skills Required: Advanced Excel / Google Sheets Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills Preferred: Power BI / Tableau or similar visualization tools CORE COMPETENCIES Strong analytical and structured thinking High attention to detail Business and commercial awareness Proactive and self-driven Able to translate data into actionable recommendations Strong presentation and communication skills
