Database Developer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements: High school diploma plus 7+ years of experience in database management, SQL, and PostgreSQL Experience translating data collection requirements into workable technical solutions Experience evaluating data sources for accuracy and applying suitable logic to solutions Experience working in a Linux environment Preferred: experience with JavaScript and Node.js Preferred: experience with Python Preferred: experience with enterprise-scale data analytics platforms and high-volume data architectures Preferred: strong communication skills for collaborating effectively across multiple channels Active/current TS/SCI with polygraph is required Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time Responsibilities: Write, maintain, and troubleshoot stored procedures to support strong database performance Partner with analysts to define clear operational and data requirements Tune SQL queries against terabytes of data for better speed and efficiency Design database tables with well-defined schemas, proper indexing, and logical partitioning Review data sources for accuracy and priority, applying appropriate logic to our solutions Deliver platform support, solve issues, and debug database production incidents Technologies: Support JavaScript Linux PostgreSQL Python SQL NodeJS More: We are MANTECH, and we are looking for a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Database Developer to join our team in Herndon, VA.
