Freelance IT Proximity Engineer

📋 Description Proximity IT support across Goole and Northallerton, acting as the local intervention point when Level 1 support for end-user devices, including PCs, laptops, mobile phones, printers and Enhanced Level 1 & 2 hardware diagnosis and support for industrial equipment, including Resolve hardware, workstation, peripheral and local connectivity issues within the defined support First-line and client-device support for Microsoft 365, Teams telephony, SAP and other Configure, stage, install, deploy, replace and relocate approved IT equipment across office 🎯 Requirements Experience in an IT proximity, site support, field engineering or Level 1 support role, ideally Practical experience supporting industrial or operational IT equipment is highly desirable. Strong hardware fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Sound knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, peripherals and basic network Ability to diagnose industrial hardware issues and recognise when escalation to infrastructure Experience using a Service Desk platform, preferably ServiceNow, and working within ITIL-based
