Frontend Engineer – React / TypeScript 📍 Kraków | Hybrid (2 days per week from the office) 💼 B2B | 180–220 PLN/h We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join a regional EMEA technology team working on the Global Disbursements platform - a large‑scale payments system enabling customers and businesses to move funds quickly and securely across markets. What you will be doing: Develop, maintain and support front‑end applications and microservices Work with React 18, TypeScript 5, Bootstrap 5 Build and support services in collaboration with backend teams using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot Contribute to improving observability and operational tooling for payment flows Support automation testing frameworks to reduce testing costs Enhance Straight‑Through‑Processing (STP) capabilities of services Collaborate with engineering, product and DevOps teams in an Agile environment
Requirements:
What we are looking for: At least 6 months of experience in the payments/disbursements area Strong knowledge of React 18, TypeScript 5, Bootstrap 5 Experience with Java 8+ (Java 17+ is a plus) Working understanding of RESTful microservices and APIs Experience with SQL and database technologies Previous experience with legacy UX technologies (e.g., JSP) Understanding of DevOps ways of working Based in Kraków area (hybrid) Nice to have: Knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot Experience working in DevOps delivery teams Familiarity with legacy UI technologies
