IT Asset Operations Specialist

They are currently looking for a motivated IT professional to join their technical support team and help maintain high-quality service delivery for their end-users. about the job: In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing the complete operational lifecycle of corporate hardware and technology assets. Joining an active IT operations team, your primary responsibility will be maintaining accurate asset governance and supporting seamless physical store logistics. key responsibilities: Maintain, track, and update physical asset records and configuration items within an enterprise IT Service Management platform to ensure continuous operational visibility. Coordinate IT warehouse operations, including incoming shipments, stock tagging, cataloging, security, and organized physical storage. Handle end-to-end hardware deployment, device setup, issuance, and return processes for staff onboarding and offboarding. Action and resolve daily technical fulfillment requests via the internal ticketing platform while managing necessary audit and compliance documentation. Conduct periodic physical inventory audits, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and oversee safe, compliant decommission or disposal procedures for end-of-life equipment. skills and experience required: Experience in managing hardware asset tracking, IT store/logistics operations, or desktop support functions. Practical hands-on expertise with ServiceNow (or equivalent ITSM platforms), specifically in ticket resolution and asset/configuration item tracking. Strong proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, or basic automation scripts). Exposure to workflow or data tools such as Power Automate or Power BI is an added advantage.
