IT Risk & Security Analyst Internship

Salary: $60,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: We are pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, security, risk, cybersecurity, or a related technical or engineering field We have a strong interest in security or threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting We prefer a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above We demonstrate leadership skills or leadership ambition We have strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities We can work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment Responsibilities: We drive security strategies that help Vanguard perform at its best and protect investors We support client outcomes and help give investors the best opportunity for investment success We gain practical experience in security strategy, risk mitigation, and digital ethics while applying Agile and LEAN methods We share ideas and contribute results both individually and in supportive team settings We build our network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers We meet regularly with our department manager and internship program manager for tailored coaching and mentorship Technologies: Support Network Security More: We are offering a full-time, paid summer internship through Vanguards College to Corporate Internship Program, with a start date in May or June 2027. This immersive program provides extensive training, real-world experience, hands-on opportunities, and mentorship to help broaden technical expertise and expose interns to the software life cycle.
