IT Support Specialist- planner

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Lifecycle Management (LCM) planning activities across the APAC region , while also supporting hardware lifecycle and asset management functions . This role requires a proactive individual with strong planning, coordination, communication, and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities LCM Planning & Coordination Develop and maintain migration schedules, forecasts, weekly trackers, and 3-week outlooks. Plan and coordinate Windows migration cycles, VDI/DaaS adoption, and cloud migration initiatives. Communicate migration plans and schedules to end users and key stakeholders across APAC. Track migration progress using Management Studio and provide regular status updates to management. Update ServiceNow records and maintain accurate workflow documentation. Identify exceptions requiring parallel upgrades, such as EOL hardware or application compatibility issues. Review historical migration plans and adjust strategies for current migration cycles. Collaborate closely with other APAC LCM planners to ensure successful delivery of regional initiatives. Provide regular reporting, planning updates, and overall visibility of LCM activities to management. Hardware Support & Lifecycle Services Perform break/fix support activities and coordinate hardware replacements. Execute lifecycle activities, including installations, moves, adds, and changes. Support physical installation, relocation, and handling of end-user computing devices and workplace technology equipment, including large-format displays. Asset & Inventory Management Maintain accurate asset and inventory records. Manage onsite inventory, including spare devices and loaner equipment. Support audit, compliance, and asset-tracking activities across the APAC region. Ensure effective tracking and management of hardware assets throughout their lifecycle.
