Lead Software Developer for CNO

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree with over 20 years of programming experience, or a High School Diploma with more than 24 years of programming experience. Proficiency with build environments such as Gradle or Maven. Familiarity with Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Experience in Software Version Control. Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Understanding of data ingest, storage, and processing techniques. Awareness of agile software development methodologies. Experience with XML or JSON. Responsibilities: As a CNO Software Engineer on our team, your tasks will include but are not limited to: Writing and developing code using Python, Java, and Groovy while adhering to software standards. Conducting data analytics on various formats, including logs and images. Working with databases, performing general troubleshooting such as tuning and optimization, and resolving issues like deadlocks and normalization in relational database engines like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar. Utilizing streaming technologies and customizing data flows. Analyzing logs and engaging in general troubleshooting, which includes tuning and optimization, search and indexing, mapping, and monitoring. Collaborating with Elastic Stack and Opensearch APIs. Performing definitions and designs for systems and subsystems, implementing designs, and carrying out tests. Researching product requirements related to the target environment, performance metrics, and competitive factors; innovating new capabilities or suggesting enhancements to existing ones. Assessing computer user needs and analyzing system capabilities to resolve programming intent and output requirements. Modifying current software to fix errors, adapt to new requirements, or enhance performance, while ensuring quality control on team outputs. Coordinating and executing software deployments for developed products. Mentoring junior software developers.
