Unlimited opportunities for employee referral incentives across the organization Standard government and Emapta benefits Total of 20 annual leaves to be used on your own discretion (including 5 credits convertible to cash) Fun engagement activities for employees Mentorship and exposure to global leaders and teams Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator with a focus on LAN/WAN environments, or equivalent experience Proficiency in Cisco networking equipment and troubleshooting Experience with VoIP systems; familiarity with Asterisk-based PBX systems is an advantage Scripting and programming skills; an interest in network automation is an advantage Relevant certifications, such as Cisco, Microsoft, CCNA, CWNA, MTA, MCSA, or other industry-specific credentials Proficiency in Cisco technologies, Asterisk PBX, VoIP systems, and relevant programming languages Strong accuracy, accountability, and client service skills Responsibilities Serve as the Tier 2 technical escalation point for field operations staff. Own support tickets by asking relevant questions, examining evidence, conducting research, and implementing effective solutions. Coordinate with Tier 1 staff and consult Tier 3 specialists to provide standardized solutions with minimal supervision. Install, troubleshoot, and monitor networks to maintain reliable client connectivity. Provide Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity through routers and switches in accordance with client requirements and company standards. Configure Layer 2 networks, create Layer 3 interfaces, and use Layer 1-3 show commands to map network topology and trace connectivity through CDP/LLDP, MAC address tables, ARP tables, and Spanning Tree. Monitor networks for potential issues and open tickets for investigation. Research industry best practices to confirm the viability of proposed solutions. Document network changes, technical decisions, and supporting rationale. Collaborate with upstream providers to provision internet circuits for redundant BGP routing. Filter routes and perform traffic engineering to optimize network performance. Open tickets for circuit outages and upstream routing issues, then manage them through resolution. Configure and troubleshoot high-density wireless hotspot gateways. Manage essential network services supporting internet access, including DHCP, DNS, and NAT. Maintain networks and infrastructure during outage windows to prevent or minimize downtime. Schedule maintenance windows and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to minimize connectivity disruptions.
