Remote Associate Data Engineer/Analyst

Salary: $92,000 - 118,000 per year Requirements: We require a related bachelors degree or equivalent related work experience. We look for 3+ years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, we consider 1.5 years of experience in an Associate Data Engineer role or in data analytics. We require experience with Posit/R. We require experience with SSIS. Responsibilities: We work across IT and business teams to build and maintain custom reports and data files from multiple Access databases and tables, helping business owners support decision-making through comprehensive analysis. We oversee the creation and day-to-day operation of mission-critical departmental reporting for metric results. We design and develop ETL solutions using Toad, SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, or similar tools. We translate business needs into data elements in Access databases and other data marts to source, extract, match, and modify data for reporting. We create and maintain custom dashboards and data sources in Tableau and other reporting tools, and we extract and aggregate data as needed. We prepare reports and presentations that document analyses and help key stakeholders understand the business impact. We identify, investigate, and document root causes of trends, issues, and performance gaps, then recommend and implement improvements. We perform exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and data visualization using data mining tools. We transition existing SSIS ETL pipelines to Posit and R.
