Risk & Security IT Internship Analyst

Salary: $60,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: We are pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, security, risk, cybersecurity, or a related technical or engineering discipline. We have a strong interest in security or threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred. We demonstrate leadership skills or leadership ambitions. We bring effective analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. We can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: We drive security strategies that help Vanguard operate at its best and protect investors. We support client outcomes and help give investors the best opportunity for investment success. We gain practical experience in security strategy, risk reduction, and digital ethics while applying Agile and LEAN methods. We share our ideas and contribute to results both individually and in supportive team settings. We build relationships with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers. We meet regularly with our department manager and internship program manager for tailored coaching and mentorship. This is a full-time, paid summer internship within our College to Corporate Internship Program, offering immersive hands-on experience, extensive training, mentorship, and exposure to the software life cycle. The role is based within our cybersecurity-focused Analyst track, and the program is scheduled to begin in May or June 2027.
