SAP Consultant

The organization is undergoing a continuous organizational transformation, enabling high-quality and cost-effective service delivery for evolving business needs . The position will report to the ERP team and will support multiple concurrent initiatives, including SAP ECC/Umoja production support, Web Dynpro ABAP to SAP Fiori migration, SAP S/4HANA transformation activities, SAP Travel and Finance Integration modernization, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) adoption. Duration : initial contract duration is expected to be 1 year, commencing in September 2026, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and individual performance 8h full-time role in NY working hours.
Requirements:
Required Experience and Skills A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in SAP ERP full lifecycle implementations (planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance). Functional skills (required) Experience in Travel Management Experience in Finance Integration SAP S/4HANA skills (required) Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, conversion or upgrade projects Experience with custom code remediation and adaptation for S/4HANA Understanding of SAP Simplification Items and Clean Core principles Experience with Embedded Analytics and CDS-based virtual data models FIORI development skills (required) SAPUI5 hands-on experience with custom applications Knowledge of SAP UX architecture and best practices Fiori Elements experience Front End Development with SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery Responsive UI design OData and REST services Experience with Business Application Studio or Visual Studio Code Working knowledge of Git ABAP skills (required) Experience in Web Dynpro ABAP Workflow Management BADIs and enhancements ABAP CDS Views and CDS View Entities ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) OData V2 and OData V4 services BOPF development HANA optimized development and ABAP Cloud concepts BTP and Integration skills (required) SAP Business Technology Platform SAP Work Zone SAP Integration Suite REST and SOAP integrations Side-by-side extension concepts Other (desirable) FRICEW development experience SAP Cloud ALM SAP Build solutions SAP S/4HANA or BTP certifications

Daily tasks: - Provides production support for the existing Travel solution developed in Web Dynpro ABAP and ABAP.
– Supports SAP ECC/Umoja maintenance, enhancements and incident resolution.
– Migrates current Web Dynpro ABAP applications to SAP Fiori applications.
– Supports Travel and Finance Integration teams providing technical expertise.
– Supports implementation of Work Zone, SAP BTP and related services.
– Designs, develops and maintains SAP Fiori applications and OData services.
– Develops OData services using ABAP CDS, RAP and BOPF frameworks where appropriate.
– Performs technical assessment and remediation of custom developments for SAP S/4HANA compatibility.
– Supports SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrade and transformation initiatives.
– Applies SAP Clean Core and extensibility principles.
– Supports SAP Integration Suite and API-based integrations.
– Creates functional, technical and architectural documentation.
