Requirements:
Who we're looking for Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Java software development. Proven experience with Spring Boot or Micronaut .Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker . Excellent knowledge of AWS (deployment and configuration).Experience with message-driven architectures ( Kafka , event sourcing). Success delivering in an agile environment. Experience working in a highly secure application environment. Ability to act as a subject matter expert and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. Understanding how to translate business objectives into data-driven insights. Daily tasks: - Work as part of a core cross-functional mission team to develop core-banking technology.
– Deliver and enhance the NatWest Boxed technology product.
– Support and mentor junior engineers, acting as a subject matter expert.
– Write clean, elegant, reusable, and well-tested code that’s easy to maintain and extend.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the direction of NW Boxed engineering and ensure customer interests are at the heart of key decisions.
– Work across the backend chapter to uphold standards, best practices, and promote innovation.
– Resolve technical issues collaboratively within the team.
