Senior Cyber Intelligence Specialist

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements: We require an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. We need a bachelors degree plus at least 6 years of relevant systems security experience. We accept a graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of related systems security experience. In lieu of a degree, we require at least 10 years of related systems security experience. We require a minimum Security+ certification or an equivalent credential. We may require the ability to obtain and maintain access to classified information, subject to government investigation and eligibility checks. We prefer candidates with experience using security assessment and hardening tools such as SCAP Compliance Checker, ACAS, and Nessus. We value prior training and hands-on experience with Xacta 360 or Xacta.io. We prefer working knowledge of WAN/LAN environments, including routers, switches, and firewalls. We are looking for a self-starter who collaborates effectively to support team objectives. Responsibilities: We support the development, deployment, and execution of security controls and defensive measures that protect our technology, information systems, and system deliverables. We help ensure secure system operations and maintenance while assessing and mitigating security threats and risks across the program lifecycle. We support certification and accreditation planning, testing, and validation activities in coordination with government customers. We carry out first-level incident response actions, analyze security events and anomalies, and report results according to established directives. We safeguard systems and national security information from unauthorized use, intrusion, exfiltration, alteration, destruction, or disclosure. We notify the ISSM about changes that could affect the system Authorization to Operate and coordinate hardware, software, and firmware changes before implementation. We build, maintain, and update aircraft disk pack sets to support our test team and the Air Force as needed. We travel up to 25% of the time to support offsite test events. We may work nights and weekends to support SCIF staffing during planned site or network outages that affect our security posture. We analyze and administer security controls as part of the system Continuous Monitoring Plan. We follow approved procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media. We implement, enforce, communicate, and develop security policies and plans for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunications. We provide details and supporting artifacts for Risk Management Framework documentation, including SSP, SAR, RAR, SAP, SCTM, and POA&M, to support Assessment and Authorization. We perform periodic hardware and software inventories to maintain tight control of assigned assets. We identify weaknesses in system security controls and document POA&M entries to help remediate deficiencies.
