Senior .NET Engineer

Salary: $128000 - 170000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. We require at least 5 years of hands-on backend development experience with .NET technologies. We need strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, and Web API development. We require solid experience with SQL Server and relational database design; PostgreSQL experience is a plus. We expect a strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. We value familiarity with Agile and Kanban delivery approaches. We look for excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred experience includes microservices and event-driven architectures. Experience with Dapper or other ORM tools is preferred. Exposure to DevSecOps practices, automated testing, and performance tuning is an advantage. Responsibilities: We design and build backend architecture using .NET Framework, .NET 8, and C#. We develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile solutions. We improve application performance, scalability, and security across distributed environments. We partner with front-end engineers to connect user-facing features with server-side logic. We implement database solutions in SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with a focus on efficient querying. We participate in code reviews, uphold engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers. We troubleshoot production issues and resolve them promptly. We ensure compliance with security standards and data protection requirements. We contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows. We stay informed about emerging .NET technologies and cloud-native development trends. We follow a test-driven development approach. We may take on additional duties as needed.
