Senior Specialist, Satcom Systems Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors Degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience in Systems/SATCOM Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Capability to obtain a secret security clearance Experience in product development, preferably in a military context (preferred) Familiarity with type 1 encryption products and cyber security (preferred) Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills (preferred) Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines (preferred) Experience in coordinating projects and managing technical support personnel (preferred) Ability to effectively collaborate and contribute as part of a team (preferred) Active Secret Security Clearance (preferred) Responsibilities: Oversee the life-cycle support of protected SATCOM data link systems from conceptual development to phase-out Provide proposal support, requirements analysis, and management Plan and execute technical tasks, ensuring thorough documentation Participate in design oversight and synthesis within a multi-functional engineering team Support build and testing processes, including risk management and subcontract control Assist in integration and verification testing, as well as system deployment Offer in-house technical support during the operational life-cycle of systems Facilitate the capture and management of customer requirements, ensuring traceability Aid lead engineers in developing specifications, interface documents, and test plans Technologies: Support Security Matrix Network More: At L3Harris, we are committed to recruiting and nurturing talented individuals who are passionate about their work.
