Software Engineer

Salary: $90000 - 135000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a versatile software engineer with strong Java and Spring development experience. We expect hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native application delivery. We value familiarity with modern build, test, and deployment tooling such as Maven, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. We prefer experience working with REST APIs, MySQL, Cucumber, New Relic, and infrastructure tools such as Terraform. We need someone who can thrive in an Agile/Kanban environment and collaborate effectively with product and engineering partners. We expect strong problem-solving skills, including debugging, root-cause analysis, and system troubleshooting. We are seeking someone who writes maintainable, well-tested code and follows engineering standards and best practices. Applicants who require current or future visa sponsorship will not be considered for this role. Responsibilities: We build and enhance features on our AI-native wholesale workflow platform. We turn business and functional needs into clear, estimable technical tasks. We develop high-quality code and create comprehensive end-to-end automated tests for critical components. We use observability, security, performance, and quality practices to keep our software reliable and compliant. We collaborate with product owners, senior engineers, and cross-functional teammates to align on design and implementation decisions. We investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues through structured debugging and log analysis. We support modernization work by refactoring legacy code and contributing to migration efforts. We uphold team coding standards, development patterns, and engineering best practices, including responsible use of AI tools. We document technical designs, implementation choices, and team processes clearly and consistently. We communicate status updates, blockers, and technical considerations to both teammates and product stakeholders. Our team is primarily based in Atlanta, GA, and we work in a collaborative, cross-functional Agile/Kanban environment. We value adaptable, hardworking engineers with broad skill sets who can respond to rapid changes in the automotive and technology industries. The role offers a base salary range of $89,400 to $134,000, with potential eligibility for additional incentive compensation.
