About the role We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join DAPL Information Technology Management Services Philippines Inc. in a pivotal role that bridges business requirements with robust technical implementations. This is a contract position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila , operating on a full onsite basis . As a Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering comprehensive technology solutions that drive business value for our clients. This role carries significant strategic importance, as you will be responsible for translating complex business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient architectural frameworks that align with organisational objectives. Key responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions Design and develop solution architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices and organisational standards Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools that address specific business challenges Create detailed architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow charts, and technical specifications for implementation teams Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support solution recommendations and investment decisions Provide technical guidance and support throughout the implementation phase, ensuring solutions are delivered according to design specifications Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and database teams to ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as performance, availability, and compliance Review and validate that deployed solutions meet architectural standards and business objectives Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends Mentor and support junior technical staff in understanding architectural principles and solution design methodologies What we're looking for Minimum 7-10 years of experience in IT architecture, systems design, or related technical roles within enterprise or complex environments Strong expertise in designing enterprise-level solutions across multiple domains, such as cloud infrastructure, application integration, or data architecture Proven experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Solid understanding of system design principles, including scalability, security, availability, and disaster recovery Experience in requirements analysis and translating business requirements into technical specifications Proficiency in creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentation materials for both technical and non-technical audiences Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, microservices, and API-driven architectures Understanding of industry-specific compliance requirements and security frameworks relevant to your domain Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and levels Certifications in solutions architecture, cloud architecture, or related fields are highly desirable, such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations What we offer At DAPL Information Technology Management Services Philippines Inc., we are committed to supporting the professional growth and wellbeing of our team members.
