Staff Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

📋 Description Design scalable, fault-tolerant infra powering Harvey's AI across cloud regions Own and evolve multi-cloud infra (Azure, GCP) including Kubernetes, networking, container mgmt Lead observability and incident response for rapid issue detection Architect distributed systems for reliability: load balancing, quota, failover Drive IaC with Terraform and Pulumi for reproducible deployments Mentor engineers through code and design reviews and technical leadership 🎯 Requirements 10+ years of infrastructure/platform engineering in production Proven track record building and scaling large distributed systems Expertise in cloud platforms: Azure preferred; AWS/GCP ok Proficient in IaC tools: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation Strong Kubernetes, container orchestration, networking, and cloud security Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry) and incident response (PagerDuty, Incident.io) Proficient in Python or Go Excellent problem-solving and operational excellence mindset 🎁 Benefits Relocation assistance for new employees In-person, San Francisco-based role
