About the roleThis position combines engineering leadership with product ownership responsibilities within a critical financial platform. You will play a key role in shaping and evolving our internal financial system that supports investment decision-making and strategies.Acting as both a Development Manager and a Product Owner, you will lead a team of engineers while also driving the vision, priorities, and roadmap of a central financial application used by business stakeholders.Key responsibilitiesLead and develop a team of engineers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environmentOversee the end-to-end development of a core financial system Take ownership of the product backlog and roadmap for a central financial platform, aligning priorities with business goalsWork closely with stakeholders across different financial areas (investment, risk and other) to define requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutionsEnsure high-quality delivery through strong engineering practices, code quality, and architectural standardsDrive continuous improvement of the platform, balancing ongoing development with new feature deliveryAct as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring clear communication and alignmentYour background7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong hands-on backgroundProven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring engineering teamsStrong technical expertise in .NET Core and ReactExperience working on complex, business-critical systems with ongoing development and evolutionGood understanding of financial or investment-related domains (e.g. funding, collateral, investment environments)Ability to combine technical leadership with product thinking and stakeholder managementStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
