Workday Security Analyst

Salary: $166,400 - 176,800 per year Requirements: We require 3+ years of Workday Security experience. We need strong knowledge of Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security Policies, security groups, role-based access controls, segregation of duties, and user provisioning. We require experience supporting Workday HCM and related modules. We need familiarity with auditing, compliance, and security governance practices. We value strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with effective communication and stakeholder management. Preferred qualifications include Workday Pro Security Certification. Preferred experience includes Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Learning. Preferred background includes understanding of SOX controls and audit requirements. Preferred experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields. Preferred experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing platforms. Preferred prior HRIS or enterprise application support experience. Responsibilities: We configure, maintain, and support Workday security architecture. We manage Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security Policies, role-based and user-based security groups, and segregation of duties controls. We review and approve security access requests. We perform user provisioning, role assignments, and access updates. We maintain security documentation and role matrices. We conduct periodic access reviews and user recertifications. We monitor configurations for compliance with policies and regulations. We partner with Internal Audit, Compliance, HR, and IT Security during audits. We identify and remediate security risks, control gaps, and audit findings. We support SOX, GDPR, and related compliance initiatives. We investigate and resolve security issues and access concerns. We analyze incidents, recommend corrective actions, and perform root cause analysis. We support escalations involving security and business process access. We participate in implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. We evaluate the security impact of changes and new functionality. We configure and test security changes to meet evolving requirements. We collaborate with functional, reporting, and integration teams to address security needs. We review bi-annual releases for security impacts and complete validation. We develop and execute security test plans and support UAT and deployments. We create and maintain security documentation, procedures, and standards. We develop reports and dashboards for access controls and compliance monitoring. We document security configurations and business process security designs. We recommend improvements and best practices.
