IT Admin

About the role We are seeking an experienced IT Admin to join Asticom Technology Inc on a contract basis. This role is based in Bagumbayan, Quezon City, Metro Manila. As an IT Admin, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and supporting our technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction. This position is essential to our operations, as you will serve as a key support function for both internal teams and external clients, managing day-to-day IT operations and providing technical assistance across our organisation. Key responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, software, and networks Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users, responding to help desk tickets and support requests Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security protocols in accordance with company policies Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect data integrity Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures Assist with the deployment and management of software updates and patches Support the implementation of IT security measures and ensure compliance with data protection standards Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues and improve IT service delivery Manage IT inventory and coordinate hardware procurement and disposal What we're looking for Proven experience in IT administration or a similar support role within the Help Desk and IT Support industry Strong technical knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking fundamentals Experience with hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management tools Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of IT security best practices and data protection regulations Relevant qualifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
