Tableau Server Administrator

WE ARE HIRING: TABLEAU SERVER ADMINISTRATOR Location: BGC, Taguig Work Setup: Hybrid – 8x onsite per month Employment Type: Project-Based (Extension & Absorption) Job Description We are looking for a Tableau Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and support Tableau Server environments, ensuring availability, performance, security, and smooth operation of business intelligence and analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Tableau Server environments. Manage Tableau Server users, groups, permissions, sites, and projects. Monitor server performance, availability, and system health. Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, and maintenance of Tableau Server. Manage Tableau Server workbooks, data sources, schedules, and extract refreshes. Troubleshoot Tableau Server, connectivity, authentication, and performance issues. Monitor and manage server capacity, background jobs, and resource utilization. Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities. Implement and maintain security and access controls. Coordinate with developers, data teams, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Maintain technical documentation, administration procedures, and operational standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Tableau Server Administrator or in a similar BI platform administration role. Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud . Experience in user, role, site, project, and permission management . Knowledge of Tableau Server installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting . Experience with Tableau Server monitoring and performance tuning . Knowledge of data source and extract management . Familiarity with authentication and security , including Active Directory/LDAP or similar technologies. Understanding of Windows/Linux server administration is an advantage. Basic knowledge of SQL and databases . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills.
